BREAST CANCER FUNDRAISER

HAUP is excited to invite you to join us for the entire month of October for our first virtual fundraiser Walk-a- Thon / Breast Cancer Walk. One of our goals at the agency is encouraging health and wellness within the many communities we serve.

The virtual format gives you the flexibility to complete the walk anytime, anywhere and anyway you want! On the treadmill, at the local track, walking around your neighborhood. You decide!


21K = 13.1 Miles

1 Miles = approx. 20 minutes to complete

13.1 Miles = approx. 4-4.5 hours to complete

It’s thanks to people like you, we can continue to make available the multitude of services we provide to our clients. This event will help raise funds to support our “Sister-to-Sister” Women Empowerment Program at HAUP, as well as promote fitness within our community.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

The Haitian Americans United for Progress, Inc. (HAUP), invites you to join our first HAUP Walk-a-thon/Breast Cancer Walk as an event sponsor. This event is to help raise funds to support our “Sister-to-Sister” Women Empowerment Program at HAUP, as well as promote fitness within our community. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $25,000 through individual donations and community/business sponsorships. 

The Haitian Americans United for Progress, Inc. (HAUP) has been serving the community for over 40 years. HAUP has been committed to helping individuals and families enhance their quality of life. HAUP is a multi-program organization, providing support for individuals who are seeking Immigration, Educational, and Health Services, while also assisting those with Special Needs. HAUP offers a free, full day Pre-K program to students who are 4 years old. We have expanded over the years and currently offer a multitude of services throughout the entire Tri-State Area.
