Legacy50 Campaign
Legacy Campaign for Haitian Americans United for Progress: Celebrating 50 Years of Empowerment, Building a Future of Opportunity for Immigrant Communities
For fifty years, Haitian Americans United for Progress (HAUP) has been a beacon of hope, advocacy, and empowerment for the Haitian American community and beyond. As we reflect on the legacy of our work—serving all stages for immigrant communities, economic mobility, and cultural pride—we are proud to honor the resilience and strength of our past, while also investing in the future we want to build together.
The Legacy50 Campaign is a pivotal moment in our history. It is not just a celebration of our 50 years of impact, but a call to action for the next generation. We are launching an ambitious $5 million endowment campaign to ensure that HAUP continues to thrive, grow, and serve our community for years to come.
Why Now?
As we celebrate half a century of progress, we must lay the groundwork for the next 50 years. The endowment will provide a sustainable source of funding, ensuring that HAUP can continue to offer critical services, advocate for policy change, and empower future generations of Haitian Americans.Your contribution will help us build:
A Sustainable Future: Creating a lasting fund that supports our programs and initiatives for decades to come.
Ongoing Community Empowerment: Expanding our capacity to uplift individuals, families, and communities through education, advocacy, and social services.
A Stronger Legacy: Ensuring that the stories, culture, and needs of the Haitian American community continue to be honored, supported, and uplifted.
