To meet the needs of the community, HAUP offers ESL classes to immigrants and speakers of other languages who are in need of developing or enhancing their listening, speaking, reading, writing, and numeracy skills in English. Classes are given in Brooklyn and Queens every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings between the hours of 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Thursday and Friday 5:00pm - 8:00pm. CIVICS / citizenship classes
Join our Citizenship Class today! This course is designed to fully prepare students for the U.S. Citizenship Test, covering all three essential parts: writing, reading, and the civics oral test. Classes are held every Thursday and Friday from 5 PM to 7 PM at 197-17 Hillside Avenue, Hollis, NY 11423. Whether you're brushing up on your knowledge or learning the material for the first time, our class will provide you with the tools you need to succeed.
